The founding shareholders of KRMT all began their professional careers with international accounting firms known in the industry as the "Big Four". As their respective careers progressed, they each noticed the trend in the local practices of the international firms to only work with "mega" clients in the Florida marketplace. This strategic direction was in direct conflict with the personal philosophy of each founding shareholder of working closely with their clients to provide assurance, tax and consulting services, as well as seeking to develop long-term personal working relationships. As a result of their desire to combine the background, training and experiences of a larger firm with the personal service and attention of a smaller firm, KRMT was formed.
