Chip graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  He has over 30 years of public accounting experience and formerly served as an audit partner with KPMG LLP.  Chip has extensive experience serving not-for-profit, governmental and healthcare clients throughout the greater Tampa Bay area.

Chip is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA).  He previously served as chairman of the FICPA Not-for-Profit Committee.  Chip has also served as a member of the FICPA State and Local Government Committee.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the FICPA – West Coast Chapter.

Chip is a life long resident of the Tampa Bay area and has held numerous leadership positions with different charitable and civic organizations throughout his career.  He currently is a member of the Bayfront Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, serves as treasurer for the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services, and is also a member of Suncoasters and St. Petersburg Kiwanis.  He and his wife Ginger live in St. Petersburg.
