On October 20, 2006 the employees of Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp, P.A. held their first walk-a-thon, with proceeds going to The Children’s Home.  The entire staff participated in the event and collectively walked over 250 miles.  This was just one of several fundraisers that were held to raise funds for The Children’s Home. 

On November 2, 2006 during an Open House held in celebration of the firm’s 15th Anniversary, Linda Harding, Senior Tax Manager presented Gerard H. Veneman, President/CEO of The Children’s Home, with a check for $10,000.

We get a double thumbs up from Bob Batz.	And the winner is, Marcus Clapper, audit staff. ‘By the way, he ran the 6 mile course!
